Google suggests Edge users should switch to chrome as Edge is less secure

Google tactics to switch users from edge to chrome.

Obviously chrome is dominating Edge, According to Net Share Market chrome has around 67.63% share of browser market while Edge only has 5.77%.

But to the audience using Microsoft Edge, Google warned them with a message saying ” Google recommends switching to Chrome to use extensions securely. “

The warning doesn’t prevent Edge users from safely installing and running Chrome extensions, but it could convince some people to switch to team Google as a way of ‘improving security,’ even though both browsers use Chromium.

Microsoft tactics to keep edge users using their services.

Both Google and Microsoft are applying their tactics, whenever a user uses google services on edge, Google promotes their product and so does Microsoft makes Edge the default browser in Windows and tries to dissuade users when they search for and install Chrome.

CONCLUSION: Google and Microsoft will continue to recommend people to use their respective browsers and warn people about users competing browsers.
